At Elvish Designs, our philosophy towards landscaping is different than our industry competitors. We use and intuitive approach that "reads" the property and merges that view with the client's personality and goals for the property. In essence, we take what nature (or the previous property owner) has already provided and merge that with the uniqueness of our clients to create a very personalized environment for them.
We use Shamanic, Druidic, and Feng Shui concepts to determine what elements are missing from the client property. This helps us make the best choices for the properties plants, color, and lanscape orientation. For customers that don't particularly care about such metaphysical determinants, we can minimize or eliminate this analysis.
Our methods allow us to maximize our clients enjoyment of their outdoor environment as much or more than they enjoy their indoor environment. We offer maintenance contracts that preclude all but the most minimal effort for our clients to maintain what we have created for them.
Elvish Designs uses "all organic" and wholistic methods of pest control and fertilization. We prefer to use organic soil amendments and do not use sprays. Integrated Pest Management (IPM) is utilized conceptually at all levels, but only implemented in extreme cases.
